Instructions

  1. Preparation:
  2. Sieve the flour on the table top, sprinkle sugar, butter and egg over it and work it into a smooth kneading dough. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out and place it in a greased springform pan (26cm), forming an edge of 4-5cm. Do not incorporate any more flour. Prick a few times with a fork.
  4. For the filling:
  5. Mix the eggs with the sugar until frothy, add the quark and vanilla pudding powder and stir until smooth. Spread this mixture on the dough and smooth it out.
  6. Peel and core the apples, cut into cubes (1x1cm) and spread over the quark filling.
  7. Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180-200 ° C, top and bottom heat, for approx. 55-60 minutes, make a stick test, remove it and let it cool in the pan.
  8. Remove the cheese and apple cake from the mold, dust with powdered sugar and if you want you can decorate it with a few apple wedges. Cut into pieces and just enjoy.
