Cut the hot dog buns lengthways up to halfway. Cut the cheese into strips 1 x 1 cm thick.
Season the ground beef with salt, pepper and chopped garlic and divide into 5 equal portions. Roll out the portions flat and cover each with a cheese strip. Then shape into a roll. The cheese must be completely coated with mince so that nothing leaks out when it is roasted.
Fry the minced cheese sausages on all sides in a coated pan and then cook for another 5 - 6 minutes over medium heat.
Fill the hot dog rolls with a minced cheese sausage each and garnish with mustard, ketchup, cherry tomatoes and fresh cucumber.
