Instructions

  1. Grease the cake tin with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs if necessary.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and vanilla sugar together.
  3. Mix the butter with the eggs until frothy. Stir in each egg individually for about 30 seconds.
  4. Rub the peel off the limes and add to the butter and egg mixture. Then squeeze the limes and set the juice aside.
  5. Chop the chocolate and pistachios.
  6. Now quickly mix the flour mixture into the egg mixture and add the lime juice and rum. If the dough is still too firm, add a little milk.
  7. Finally fold in the chopped pistachios and chocolate.
  8. Pour the dough into the prepared form and bake at 175 degrees top / bottom heat for about 50 minutes.
