Instructions

  1. Grease a drip pan (about 32 cm x 39 cm and about 3.5 cm deep) and dust with flour.
  2. Drain the sour cherries. Stir the jam until smooth and mix with the cherries.
  3. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and dice the butter. Melt both together in a hot water bath and let cool down a little.
  4. Mix the flour and baking powder.
  5. Pour the chocolate butter into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, the flour mixture and eggs. Mix everything with the whisk of a hand mixer. Place the dough on the drip pan and spread evenly. Now distribute the sour cherries on top.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C, fan: 150 ° C, gas: level 2) for about 35 minutes. Let cool and cut into approx. 30 pieces.
