Instructions

  1. Wash, stem and stone the cherries. Mix the fruit with the preserving sugar and the juice of half a lemon in a large saucepan. Bring the cherry mixture to the boil and let it simmer for 4 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat, possibly chop up with a hand blender. Stir in the chocolate and immediately pour the jam into twist-off glasses rinsed with hot water and close.
