Drain the cherries, grate the lemon peel. Mix the fat, 150 g sugar, lemon zest and salt. Gradually stir in 4 eggs. Mix the flour and 1/2 pack of baking powder and stir quickly into the fat. Stir in milk. Spread the batter on a baking sheet.
Pre-bake in a preheated oven (E: 200 degrees, gas: level 3) for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, stir together the sour cream, vanilla sauce powder, remaining sugar and 2 eggs. Spread the cherries on the pre-baked base, pour the sour cream on top and bake for another 20 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
Tips:
Not only whipped cream tastes good with it, but also vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce. The cake can also be served warm.
