Ingredients

  • 720 ml cherry (s) from the glass
  • 200 g butter
  • 190 g suar
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 60 ml milk
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 1 pack ready mix for sauce powder vanilla flavor
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries, grate the lemon peel. Mix the fat, 150 g sugar, lemon zest and salt. Gradually stir in 4 eggs. Mix the flour and 1/2 pack of baking powder and stir quickly into the fat. Stir in milk. Spread the batter on a baking sheet.
  2. Pre-bake in a preheated oven (E: 200 degrees, gas: level 3) for 10 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, stir together the sour cream, vanilla sauce powder, remaining sugar and 2 eggs. Spread the cherries on the pre-baked base, pour the sour cream on top and bake for another 20 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.

  5. Not only whipped cream tastes good with it, but also vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce. The cake can also be served warm.
