Grease a 26 cm tart pan and dust with the flour. Drain the cherries. Melt the butter.
Mix 125 g sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and the egg. Slowly add the melted, slightly cooled butter, knead into crumble with a hand mixer.
Press 2/3 of the dough into the mold as a base. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and spread the cherries on top. Spread the remaining crumble on the cherries.
Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove 200 ° C, gas level 3, convection 175 ° C) for about 35 minutes.
Serve with freshly whipped cream or ice cream (vanilla or cream ice cream, I think, tastes perfect with it)!
