Chicken and Cheese Hot Sandwiches Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and finely chop it. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Remove the meat from the chicken leg bones and chop it.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, chopped chicken, grated cheese, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 0.5 teaspoon of basil, 0.5 teaspoon of curry, ground black pepper to taste, and chili pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  3. Top each of the 4 bread slices with an equal portion of the filling.
  4. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (356 °F) for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Place lettuce leaves on a serving plate, top with the sandwiches, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, and serve.

Bon Appetit!
