Put the tortillas in a freezer bag and crumble them with the meat mallet or rolling pin. Small pieces of the tortillas are welcome. Put in a bowl. Put the flour in another bowl for breading. Whisk the egg in a bowl and season with pepper, salt and paprika.
Let the oil get hot in a deep pan or deep fryer. Turn the nuggets first in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the tortilla crumbs and then fry until golden brown.
