Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken fillets into bite-sized cubes and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into eighths.
  3. Clean and core the bell peppers and cut into small squares.
  4. Clean the jerky (remove any cartilage) and cut into cubes.
  5. Thread the wooden skewers: start with jerky, then alternate chicken, onion, and bell pepper pieces, repeating until full, and finish with jerky.
  6. Grill the skewers over medium-high heat for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74 °C (165 °F).
