Instructions

  1. Prepare a quark and oil dough from the specified ingredients, kneading in the chocolate and cashews last. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface. Quarter the sheet of dough and cut each quarter into three pieces of cake (or you can take a cake divider and press it onto the sheet of dough). Roll up each piece of dough from the long side into a croissant and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 20 - 25 minutes.
  3. Let the croissants cool on a wire rack. Break the chocolate into pieces, dissolve in a water bath, place in a freezer bag or immediately put the chocolate pieces in a freezer bag and melt in the microwave on a low setting. Cut off a small corner and sprinkle the croissants with it.
  4. The dough itself is a bit sticky, which makes the croissants nice and soft, if that bothers you, you just have to add a handful more flour to the dough.
