Melt margarine in a water bath or in the microwave. Throw sugar into it, stir until completely dissolved. Add eggs and milk, mix well. Add sifted flour, baking powder and vanillin, knead until smooth.
At the end of the batch, add the chocolate chips and knead until they are evenly distributed in the dough.
Grease a mold liberally with butter and lay out the dough. The form should be no more than 2/3 full, as the cake rises well during baking.
