Mix the butter, white and brown sugar together until creamy.
Mix in eggs and vanilla extract well. Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Then slowly mix the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients until everything is well combined. Finally fold in pieces of oreo and chocolate chips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread small balls of dough on it, leaving enough space between the cookies for them to rise.
Bake for 7-9 minutes, until cooked but still soft.
Take them out of the oven and let them cool down a little before removing them from the tray.
No matter what occasion I bake these cookies for and wherever I take them, they are always a huge hit. More than that, I keep getting asked for the recipe and those cookies are gone after a few minutes!
