Mix the almonds with the flour, baking powder and powdered sugar.
Put the butter in flakes on top, add the egg yolks. Work the dough ingredients into a smooth dough with floured hands. Wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for an hour.
Shape the dough into finger-thick rolls on a floured work surface and cut into pieces approx. 5 cm long. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 22 minutes, turn in the brown sugar while still warm and allow to cool.
