Ingredients

  • 60 g almond (s), round
  • 250 g flour
  • 30 g powdered suar
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 200 g butter, cold
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 40 g suar, brown
  • 125 g couverture, dark

Instructions

  1. Mix the almonds with the flour, baking powder and powdered sugar.
  2. Put the butter in flakes on top, add the egg yolks. Work the dough ingredients into a smooth dough with floured hands. Wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for an hour.
  3. Shape the dough into finger-thick rolls on a floured work surface and cut into pieces approx. 5 cm long. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 22 minutes, turn in the brown sugar while still warm and allow to cool.
  4. Dip one end of each into the couverture.
