Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir the egg yolk with the remaining ingredients in a little water.
  2. When the milk boils, stir vigorously with the whisk
  3. add the mixed powder and bring to the boil again briefly, then remove from the stove.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add small heaps to the hot soup with a spoon. Let it stand for a few minutes with the lid on.
  5. We have always had this for dinner on the day when it snows for the first time since I was around 3 years old.
  6. I think it`s a nice tradition and I will keep it with my daughter too.
