Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the chops. Sear on both sides in a large pan.
  2. Top each chop with 1 slice of ham (depending on the size of the chop, use 2 slices). Place the baked beans in the pan between the cutlets. Sprinkle the whole pan with the grated cheese.
  3. Close the lid and let everything simmer over a mild heat for about 5 - 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  4. Serve in the pan.
  5. It goes well with potato noodles and applesauce.
