Beat eggs, soft fat and sugar until frothy. Add gingerbread spice, ground almonds and flour. Finally add whole hazelnuts.
Shape the dough into long rolls, approx. 2 cm wide.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, fan-assisted 160 degrees. Place the rolls of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 18-20 minutes.
Take the rolling pin out of the oven and cut into 1 cm thick slices with a sharp knife.
Place the dough slices next to each other flat on the baking sheet and continue to bake at the same temperature until the biscuits are hard and dry
