Instructions

  1. Clean, halve and cut the onion into strips. Clean the bell pepper and cut into strips. Heat some margarine in a saucepan. Fry the onion and paprika strips in it. Add the sauerkraut from the can. Season with salt and pepper and stew for about 4 minutes over high heat.
  2. In the meantime, cut the cod fillet into bite-sized pieces, drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt. Let something go.
  3. Spread the sauerkraut in an ovenproof dish and place the pieces of fish on top. Season the whipped cream with paprika powder and pour over the fish. Cook in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  4. Then serve sprinkled with parsley strips. Mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes go well with this.
