- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, spread a flat, fire-proof dish with a little butter.
- Rinse the cod fillets with cold water, pat dry and sprinkle evenly with the lemon juice. Salt the fillets and place them side by side in the pan.
- Cut the tomatoes into very small cubes. Wash the basil and pick off the leaves.
- Mix the tomatoes and basil with the cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the tomato cream evenly over the cod.
- Cook the fish uncovered in the oven (center, convection 180 degrees) for 15 minutes.
- Rice or potatoes go well with this.
