Instructions

  1. Weigh all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Put the milk and cream in a saucepan and heat while stirring. After the milk and cream mixture has warmed up a little, add the dry ingredients slowly while stirring. Keep stirring until the coffee has dissolved well and the mass begins to steam (the ice cream mass must not boil, however, that is a bit of a matter of feeling). Then pull the saucepan off the hob, cool the mixture and then let it cool well in the refrigerator.
  3. Take the ice cream base out of the refrigerator, mix well with a hand blender and pour into the ice cream maker. Make a creamy ice cream according to the manufacturer`s instructions for the ice cream maker.
  4. Take the finished ice cream out of the machine, transfer it to a pre-cooled and sealable container and then place it in the freezer compartment.
  5. The basic ice mass is approx. 900 ml.
