Put all ingredients except the steaks in a bowl and stir. Marinate the meat in it for at least 1 hour, or better overnight.
Only prepare the steaks when the guests are there. To do this, preheat the grill to medium embers beforehand. Grill the steaks on aluminum trays for 6 - 8 minutes on each side. Remove the steaks from the grill, season with salt and cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. A green bean salad goes well with it.
