Ingredients

  • 6 steak (s) (beef steaks), from the broad hip
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon jam (blueberry jam)
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, the size a cherry stone, peeled, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, coarser

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except the steaks in a bowl and stir. Marinate the meat in it for at least 1 hour, or better overnight.
  2. Only prepare the steaks when the guests are there. To do this, preheat the grill to medium embers beforehand. Grill the steaks on aluminum trays for 6 - 8 minutes on each side. Remove the steaks from the grill, season with salt and cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. A green bean salad goes well with it.
