Cut or break the broccoli into florets and wash. Cut the hard outer layer from the stem and roughly dice the inside.
Put water in a saucepan and cook the broccoli, baking soda, salt and cashew nuts until soft for about 20 minutes. Puree the soup very finely with a blender or in a blender. If necessary, add more water until the desired consistency is achieved. Season to taste with chilli, nutmeg and salt. If you want, you can add a sweetener tablet (preferably sucralose) for a fresh aroma.
