- Clean the mushrooms and halve or quarter depending on the size.
- Peel and chop the onion and clove of garlic.
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion with the garlic.
- Add the mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Let the mushroom brew that has leaked out on a high flame reduce (this saves artificial thickening and increases the mushroom aroma).
- Season the mushrooms with granular broth as needed. Add thyme and sour cream and stir.
- Roast slices of toast, place on preheated plates and pour mushrooms over them.
- Tip: If you want, you can add some white wine to the mushrooms and let it cook.
