Peel, core and coarsely grate the cucumber, mix with the onions and mix thoroughly with the yoghurt and oil.
Briefly heat the cumin in a non-stick pan, remove from the heat and quickly stir in a little of the yogurt mixture. Add the mixture to the rest of the mixture and mix everything thoroughly.
Finally, season with the spices and herbs. Serve chilled with curries. Also tastes great as a side dish when grilling.
