Wash currants, drain them and extract juice from them.
Put the currant juice in a saucepan. Mix the sugar with Gelfix, then stir with the fruit juice, bring everything to a boil while stirring over high heat. Let simmer for at least 3 minutes, stirring constantly, and remove from the hob. Now stir in the liqueur, skim if necessary and pour into prepared glasses immediately!
If you don`t have a liqueur at home, you can also use 750 ml currant juice - it also tastes delicious!
