- Juice the currants in the steam juicer or pass them through a sieve (Flotte Lotte).
- Measure the currant juice and make up to 800 ml with red wine.
- Put in a saucepan, add the spices and preserving sugar and mix everything well.
- Put on the stove, bring to the boil and let it simmer for about 6 minutes. Make a gel test!
- Then immediately pour into clean glasses, close and let cool down.
