Chop the shallots and garlic. Roughly dice the paprika, chop the chilli pepper.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, sauté the onions and garlic. Add the diced peppers. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Add tomato paste and chopped chilli, stir vigorously.
Deglaze with the broth and season with curry and paprika powder, allow to reduce.
