Dice the apples. Mix the raw cane sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl.
Heat the margarine in a pan. Add the apples and the sugar mixture and cook for 5 minutes until the sugar melts and a thick sauce is formed.
Roll out the puff pastry and divide it into 3 parts. Score the right and left third evenly at an angle. Distribute the apple mixture on the middle third. One after the other, always fold a left and then a right strip on top of each other. Finally, brush with vegetable milk.
Bake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes, until the puff pastry has risen and browned.
