Instructions

  1. Put the minced meat in a bowl and grate the small onion on a fine grater, press the garlic clove, chop the parsley and add both to the bowl.
  2. Add the whiskey and the Worcestershire sauce and knead the meat dough well. Then season with the spices and knead again thoroughly. If necessary, add breadcrumbs to make the mixture a little firmer.
  3. Divide the meat dough into 4 equal portions, shape them into round balls and press between two layers of baking paper to make flat meatballs.
  4. Then place on the grill and grill for a few minutes on each side until the desired degree of cooking is reached. Just before the second side is grilled, place a slice of cheese on each of the meatballs and let it melt.
  5. Place the meatballs on the prepared burger buns and cover as desired, e.g., with onion rings, tomato slices, pickles and lettuce. Top with ketchup and mayonnaise.
