Ingredients
- 600 g minced beef, pork or turkey
- 1 small onion (s)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon whiskey
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- nutmeg
- some parsley
- breadcrumbs
- 4 slices cheese, (sliced cheese)
- 4 buns, (burger buns)
- Vegetables and salad for topping
- mayonnaise
- Ketchup

- Put the minced meat in a bowl and grate the small onion on a fine grater, press the garlic clove, chop the parsley and add both to the bowl.
- Add the whiskey and the Worcestershire sauce and knead the meat dough well. Then season with the spices and knead again thoroughly. If necessary, add breadcrumbs to make the mixture a little firmer.
- Divide the meat dough into 4 equal portions, shape them into round balls and press between two layers of baking paper to make flat meatballs.
- Then place on the grill and grill for a few minutes on each side until the desired degree of cooking is reached. Just before the second side is grilled, place a slice of cheese on each of the meatballs and let it melt.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared burger buns and cover as desired, e.g., with onion rings, tomato slices, pickles and lettuce. Top with ketchup and mayonnaise.
