Instructions

  1. Put the flour, yoghurt, sugar, butter, eggs, raisins, orange zest, orange liqueur to taste and salt in a bowl. Crumble the yeast over it and knead everything into a smooth, shiny dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Grease a loaf pan well. Divide the dough into three parts and shape into rolls on a well-floured surface. The dough sticks a little, but do not knead in any more flour.
  3. Braid the rolls into a braid. Put it in the mold and cover it in a warm place until it has doubled in size, which can take up to 2 hours, depending on the temperature (I always put the mold in a clean garbage bag, into which some air is blown and knot it well!)
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° O / U. Bake the mares in the oven on the lowest rack for about 40 minutes. Chopsticks sample !!! Let it cool down in the mold for about 5 minutes, then turn it out of the mold and let it cool down completely.
