Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar in the boiling water. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the lemon, and let steep for 30 minutes. Then pour the syrup through a fine sieve, fill into bottles and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  2. Half fill the glasses with crushed ice and add 4 - 5 tablespoons of syrup and lemon juice to taste. Pour cold, still water on top.
