Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Crumble the gingerbread, add the cherry juice and mix. Mix the quark and powdered sugar, whip the cream and fold into the quark mixture.
Now pour the quark mixture, then the gingerbread mixture, cherries and again the quark mixture into glasses. Finally, decorate the dessert with a cherry and the chocolate shavings or chocolate sprinkles.
