Instructions

  1. Put the elderberries in a saucepan and mix with the spices. Cover just under with water and cook for 30 minutes. Pour the juice through a juice cloth into another saucepan, ideally let it drain overnight.
  2. Measure the resulting juice, mix to 1 l of juice with 500 g of sugar (the sugar in the list of ingredients is only an approximate indication), boil for another 5 minutes and fill hot into clean, hot-rinsed bottles and close.
