Instructions

  1. Soak the elderflower briefly in lukewarm water and allow to drain - please do not soak!
  2. Prepare a liquid batter from flour, sugar, salt, oil, milk and eggs.
  3. Then pull the elder through the batter, starting with the flowers, and bake until golden brown in hot lard.
  4. Sprinkle the baked elderflower with cinnamon sugar and serve hot.
