Instructions

  1. Shake elderflower - do not wash!
  2. Wash the lemons well and cut them into slices, add to the elderflower in a large bowl (min. 5 L capacity). Bring the water and sugar to the boil, add citric acid. Add the boiling sugar solution to the elderflower in the bowl and let it steep for 3 - 5 days.
  3. Strain, bring to the boil again and pour hot into dark bottles.
  4. You can also freeze the elderflower in portions!
