Instructions

  1. Chop the fennel into large pieces and set aside. Chop the walnuts a little.
  2. Caramelize the sugar in a pan, add the walnuts and fennel and let it caramelize briefly.
  3. Then deglaze everything with cream. Pepper and salt. Put a lid on it and let it stand on a low level for about 10 minutes.
  4. The whole thing tastes super delicious with mashed potatoes.
