Tartlets are always a welcome table decoration. They are good for New Years, birthday, and any other holiday. This is a versatile buffet dish. There are a lot of recipes for fillings for tartlets. But the most popular option is with chicken and mushrooms: very tasty, beautiful, satisfying and inexpensive. At the end of the holiday, not a single tartlet will remain!
Boil, bake or grill the chicken breast. I grilled it for 10 minutes, pre-salt and pepper all the pieces on both sides.
We clean the mushrooms and chop finely.
Finely chop the onion.
We spread the chopped mushrooms in a pan and fry, stirring occasionally, until the liquid evaporates.
Then add salt, a mixture of peppers, chopped onions, vegetable oil to the mushrooms and fry the onions until soft. Mushrooms with onions should brown a little. Remove from the stove and let cool slightly.
Finely chop the cooled chicken breast.
Cut the boiled eggs into small cubes.
Combine chicken, cooled mushrooms with onions and chopped eggs in a convenient container. Season with mayonnaise and stir. We taste and, if necessary, add some salt. The filling for the tartlets is ready. (It is convenient to prepare such a filling in advance, even the day before serving, and just before the guests arrive, simply fill the baskets with it.)
We take ready-made tartlets and fill with the prepared filling. Put about 1 tablespoon in each tartlet. A spoonful of filling. Put the prepared tartlets with chicken and mushrooms on a dish.
We decorate the tartlets as you wish. I decorate with olives and parsley leaves.
