Cut chives or wild garlic leaves into tiny pieces, mix thoroughly with cream cheese and crème fraîche and season with a little lemon juice.
Fill the dates with this mixture, carefully wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Flatten the parcel a little.
Heat the butter in a non-stick pan and fry the dates over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Turn in between and check the degree of browning.
Cut a slice from the oranges on the stem side so that they stand firmly. Pierce the date stickers all around, hedgehog-shaped, into the oranges and serve.
