Instructions

1. My son asked for a soccer party for his 6th birthday. There had to be a soccer cake. Unfortunately I couldn`t find a suitable recipe, so I had to improvise:
2. Put the yogurt, oil, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and eggs in a bowl and stir well together. Place the dough on a baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for 20-30 minutes (wooden stick test!).
3. Color the marzipan with green food coloring and use the rolling pin to roll it out to the size of the baking sheet. It`s easier if you roll out the marzipan between two sheets or if you sprinkle powdered sugar on the work surface.
4. Brush the cooled cake with jam and place the marzipan blanket on top. Mark the playing field with white paint, place players (gummy bears) on it and decorate with flags.
