Ingredients
- 2 cups yogurt
- 2 cups oil
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 6 cups flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 packs vanilla sugar
- 5 egg (s)
- Cocoa powder, desiccated coconut or ground nuts
- 200 g marzipan
- jam
- 1 tube food coloring, green
- 1 tube food coloring, white or frosting
- Gummy bears and Germany flags to decorate

- My son asked for a soccer party for his 6th birthday. There had to be a soccer cake. Unfortunately I couldn`t find a suitable recipe, so I had to improvise:
- Put the yogurt, oil, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and eggs in a bowl and stir well together. Place the dough on a baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for 20-30 minutes (wooden stick test!).
- Color the marzipan with green food coloring and use the rolling pin to roll it out to the size of the baking sheet. It`s easier if you roll out the marzipan between two sheets or if you sprinkle powdered sugar on the work surface.
- Brush the cooled cake with jam and place the marzipan blanket on top. Mark the playing field with white paint, place players (gummy bears) on it and decorate with flags.
