- Peel and chop the onions, peel and chop the garlic clove.
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper from the mill.
- NOTE: Dried (rubbed) herbs are used here. If you have fresh herbs available, then alternatively add 1 bunch of each, finely chopped.
- Shape the dough into oval patties, makes about 6 pieces.
- Heat the oil in the pan, add the meatballs and fry for about 10 minutes on both sides until they are brown and crispy.
- Potato salad and a cold beer go well with this.
