Pluck the mint freshly, wash it off briefly and put it in a teacup. Pour the elderflower syrup over the mint so that the bottom of the cup is covered a good 1/2 cm. Then add a maximum of 1 teaspoon of lemon syrup and the sugar. Stir briefly and then add boiling water. Let the tea steep for about 10 minutes, remove the leaves.
The tea also tastes cold as an iced tea with ice cubes and as an alcohol-free version of Hugo.
