Peel the potatoes, cut in half and cut into wedges. Wash the asparagus, cut off the woody ends and cut into pieces.
Heat the vegetable lard in a large pan, add the potato wedges, let them brown on each side over a medium heat. Remove the potato wedges, place the asparagus pieces in the pan and fry them too (use a splash guard!).
For the sauce, heat some vegetable lard in a saucepan, chop the onion and garlic, sweat in them. Add soy drink and vegetable stock powder and allow to thicken. Garnish with radishes if you like.
