If necessary, peel the asparagus and cut into pieces approx. 10 cm long. Fry with butter or clarified butter in a pan over medium heat until the asparagus turns brown all over. Take the asparagus out of the pan, sprinkle with parmesan and roll approx. 5 sticks tightly into 2 slices of ham.
If you like it salty, you should take Black Forest, with Serrano ham or Parma ham the rolls are milder.
Put the rolls back in the pan and fry them all around until crispy. Incidentally, this also works great on the grill.
Goes well with roasted meat with boiled potatoes as a side dish.
