Wash the cucumber thoroughly and cut in half lengthways. Scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon and cut the cucumber into thin strips about 6 cm long. Halve the chili peppers.
Heat the sesame oil in a pan or wok. Add Sichuan peppercorns and chili peppers and fry over high heat until they smell spicy. Take out the peppercorns. Put the cucumber strips in the oil and stir-fry over a high heat for about 2 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and place on a plate and let cool down.
