Peel the parsley roots and cut into slices approx. 2 - 3 mm thick. Peel the onions, cut in half and cut into thin rings. Cut the bacon into small cubes or thin strips.
Heat the oil in a large pan and add the parsley roots. After the roots have taken on a little color, add the onions and bacon, as well as the spices. Let everything take color and, if necessary, season again.
